  • Jewelry Care & Cleaning

    ART BY STEPHANIE G jewelry is intentionally designed to last a lifetime. To maintain heirloom quality and integrity, it’s important to care for and clean your jewelry appropriately once it’s in your hands. Here are some tips and tricks:

    • Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, sunbathing, exercising.

    • Remove jewelry when applying cosmetics, hair products, lotions, perfumes, and when working with chemicals.

    • Prevent exposure to moisture/water & keep your art out of direct sunlight. Both may cause stones, especially turquoise & opals, to change color.

    • Metals may tarnish over time due to oxygen & natural body oils.

    • To minimize tarnishing, store jewelry in a sealed bag or box in a dry, dark, cool place.

    • Polishing cloths are provided with all metal jewelry orders to routinely polish jewelry & remove tarnish.

    • Do not polish intentionally darkened features - this may remove the intentional patina finish.

  • Sizing

    How can I find out my ring size?

    • There are a few different ways that you can determine your ring size. There are low-priced, re-usable ring sizers available online to purchase that can be used to determine your size. Local Jewelers can also size you, usually free of charge.

    Policies:

    • RINGS: I do not offer ring re-sizing at this time. Please know your ring size prior to purchasing, and prior to placing custom orders. Refunds are not available for custom orders that are requested to be made to the incorrect size.

    • CUFF BRACELETS: For cuff bracelets, some pieces can be made smaller depending on the design. Please read the product description for these types of pieces to learn if it can be made smaller. Cuff bracelets can never be made larger once they have been completed.

  • Custom Orders

    Do you do custom orders? *

    • Yes! I do accept custom orders.

    • I will typically announce when I am available for custom work and when I will be taking a pause from accepting requests.

    *While I typically accept most custom requests, I may politely decline if the request is not aligned with my typical style of work or if it is outside of my current skill set. If this is the case, I am always more than happy to refer you to a maker in my network who does work in that style.

    How do I make a custom order request?

    • For custom requests, please reach out through either: Instagram DM or Etsy Messaging. This message should include some information about the type of piece you are interested in having made.

    -Please: Share examples from my portfolio / past work that speaks to you and that you are inspired by!

    -Please do not: Ask me to copy another makers work.

    • Prior to providing a quote, I will ask additional questions about your design request. Once a design has been agreed upon, I will provide a quote.

    • Once the client has agreed to the design and the quote, full payment for the quoted price will be required prior to cutting metal. Payment plans can be discussed upon request.

    How long does it take for a custom order to be completed?

    • Current lead times range from 4-8 weeks once payment has been received - sometimes, orders may ship sooner. Lead times may vary depending on the piece.

  • Shipping

    Where do you currently ship?

    • I am currently only shipping within the US, but will announce if/when international orders will be accepted

    How much does shipping cost?

    • Shipping will be calculated at checkout.

    • All orders include tracking, regardless of the purchase price value.

    • All orders will be shipped USPS first class unless otherwise specified.

    • Packages are not insured unless specified. I am happy to add insured shipping to any order by request, at the additional cost for the requested insured price. Please reach out to the shop if you have an insured shipping request (preferably prior to purchasing).

    • If you have any special shipping preferences, feel free to reach out - I am more than happy to accommodate!

    Policies:

    • All orders will be shipped to the address included at checkout. Please make sure to double check the address entered prior to placing a purchase.

    • If you have any issues with a wrong address, please send me a message immediately either through Etsy Messaging before the item is shipped, and I will be more than happy to update.

    • For any wrong addresses, it is up to the buyer to re-route the package to the desired address. I will not be responsible for lost packages due to incorrect/incomplete shipping address information.

    • Once a package has been shipped, it is out of my hands. I am not responsible for lost / stolen items once an order has been shipped, including those that have been marked as delivered per the tracking.. If an order is in limbo in the tracking system and not marked as delivered, I will do my best to assist with tracking it down, but again - it is out of my hands once shipped. As noted above, feel free to reach out if you would prefer your package be mailed with insured shipping.

  • Refund Policy

    Do you accept returns?

    • I accept returns on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me within 3 days of delivery of your piece for any return requests or if you have any issues with your order.

    • For accepted returns, items must be shipped back within 7 days of delivery.

    Are refunds accepted for custom orders?

    • I cannot accept a refund for custom orders, especially those that include custom sizing.

    What are the conditions of return?

    • Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer will either be responsible for any loss in value or will not receive a refund. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
